Boil Water Notice

Dear families,

The City of Bethel has issued a Boil Water Notice for homes and buildings on the Bethel Heights water system which includes GJE. A water sample at one of three city testing sites came back positive for E. coli. The notice stays in effect until city testing confirms the water is safe.

Our school will boil all drinking water until the notice is lifted. Please send your child to school tomorrow with a full water bottle from home. We will also have boiled water available for students throughout the day.

We will keep you posted as soon as the City shares an update. For questions about the notice itself, call the City of Bethel at (907) 545-0167.
